Hi Ziroc ! Welcome to the club of married people !

How was this W Day ?

I remember the night before my wedding I had a dream : it was the evening after the wedding and I couldn't remember anything about it ...

Two things I remember very clearly : the bow tie of my husband kept tilted the whole day, and we spent half the night removing hair pins from my hair (and most of the week afterwards) ... not very romantic !

The world is my oyster !
And now I have the knives to open it ...

Thats fine, as long as it's a smiley site and they are giving you the IMG tags, it should be ok..

Well, if it's a smiley, thats fine.. but if it is something like artwork, or something, yeah, get permission first..

I've seen many of my 3D models rendered out, with no credit to me, and had to email them

Ok great. Just wanted to make sure. Hey, I just noticed you added my favorite smiley! Now I don't have to type that long IMG anymore! Yay!

Ziroc: Congrats and best wishes for a happy future!

To the board: It's easy enough to collect "smileys" and post them on your website. There's also enough free storage sites on the 'net that you can register for one and store there as well. Listen to Ziroc: Just say "nae" to bandwidth theft! Most people don't realize that they're doing it or that it's wrong, so it's an innocent mistake...best thing is just to copy the image (right-click and "Save Picture As" on IE 5, "Save Image As" on Netscape, or Click-drag to the desktop on Macintosh).

Ziroc

I just noticed this thread. Ziroc, I must admit to passing the "CWM Smiley site" URL around. But, as you mentioned, he, on his site, allows for the use of them by use of his IMG tags. There are a couple of pages that are private, and he asks for credit if those are accessed.

No probs !
From the CWMonkey site:
Copyright Notice:
1.) I own the copyright to all the smileys in the cwm's smilies section of this page.
2.) If you wish to use those smileys on your website you must ask permission (i will ask you to put a link to my site somewhere on yours so as to give credit where it is due) You don't need to ask permission to just post the smileys on your favorite board *note: boldfacing is his.
3.) All the rest of the smileys are either copyrighted by someone else or are public domain.
4.) If you see a smiley you have created and wish for me to take it off or give you credit, please email me and i'll do it ASAP =)
5.) All the coding & other content is my work as well.
6.) Steal my work and i'll hunt you down and kill you
