I had that problem too, but mine was much simpler, I had the color settings(?)wrong on my computer. It was supposed to be 16 bit, and I had it at 32 bit, but that machine just barely met the minimum standards on Win982ed. It was something like that anyway. I've got a new machine now, and I'm passed most of the recommended stats, and don't have to worry about it. So I'm vague on the details. I had the GeForce2, and used the universal driver, and it ran really good on it. Their backwards compatible driver? The driver was 4.14.10.4403, and I got it off of the NVidia site, sorry, no url.

The color setting is not a bad idea. Sometimes it is the easy stuff that gets you. Are you sure about the version number? Normally the last 4 digits tell you the driver number, which the current driver is 44.03. The full driver number is 6.14.10.4403. Below is listed all of the archived drivers that can be downloaded from Nvidia's site.

I took the number right off of the device manager. I just re-installed it on the 12th of May, since I got this box that day and restored that system for my girl to use.

(edit to add sys specs.) It was a Win 98 2ed system, so maybe the numbers are different?

Edit again, because this system has WinXP Home, and all the driver info I could find was GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU, ver. #3.1.5.0 Am I missing something, because NWN looks like a TV show, and I don't know any where to look for more detailed info on this machine.

It could be. I used to know what the first part of the driver stood for but I do not remember anymore. Do you know what the file download name was? I bet it was 44.03_win9x_international.exe.
