I'd recommend Deus Ex. I'm not normally interested in FPS games but this one was a lot of fun.

If you can wait that long, the Icewind Dale expansion is supposed to come out 1/15/01 according to Electronics Boutique. Interplay is usually only late by a couple of weeks so it won't be too much longer.

I loved Betrayal in Antara and Return to Krondor; my husband couldn't stop playing Planescape Torment and it lasted a long time for him too!

I'm a staunch proponent of System Shock 2; Dues Ex was quite enjoyable as well. If you would rather do turn-based, Master of Magic or Master of Orion 2 are both excellent (both old though, so perhaps tough to find.) You can also get the Might & Magic millenium (6,7, and 8, I think?) quite cheaply.

If you completed MM6,MM7,MM8,Ut9,Return to Krondor,I recommend Soubringer which is published by Interplay few months ago. This game is very beautiful, and has appropriate difficulty to play.
