For Kynnen:

When Kynnen approached close enough, the skeletal remains of the knight standing in front of you turned and surveyed you, his sword drawn. Although his jawbone had long since fallen to the ground, he was still able to talk in an unnatural sort of way, as he asked...

"Who is it that has come?"

Inquisitor Marcos of Snowdale - 98/98

Though his training had never centered around the undead, he was well aware of their blasphemous state of existance. While some were unable to speak anything but truth, others were so twisted they would plot and deceive for their own worthless gain. He did not expect great betrayal from a mere ghost, but he also knew he lacked the knowledge to ascertain this was indeed truely one of that kind.
The inquisitor did not fear this was a manner of illusion or enchantment for his faith and education protected him from such practices to a great extent. No, this chance encounter must have been directed by the gods themselves, and with good purpose.

He considered for a moment the destruction of this ghost to purge the world of an evil presence. He considered leaving it to its haunt to get on with the task assigned to him, his main priority. He considered doing the spirit a kindness, laying it to rest as it suggested they do. But there was a greater virtue, and he meant to pursue it. Already the ghost had indicated it was willing to repent.

"Sir Manessah," he spoke. "The crimes of your past are great and grievous. As you desire release, understand this will not be what we may give you, but your own gift to yourself. It is not until you renounce your evil ways and make the proper amends that you can beg forgiveness from the gods and those you have wronged.
If you are honest in your efforts, you shall have my assistance, and may lead the way.

Andrion Wilgor 22/22

Nanashi left from the throne room. He might have been able to communicate with her if he tried hard enough, but he did not see a point in it. The one, who could get him out of his current state was not here, and did not seem to be returning for the moment. However Andrion was starting to get hungry. Or at least the owl body was telling him that it was hungry.

After another half an hour Andrion decided that it was time to satisfy the needs of the owl body and moved around the tower looking for food.

Sir Manessah

The ghost said nothing more, but floated down the hallway at a rate at which the alive could follow. Once he got to the end of this hallway where there was a choice to turn left or right, he chose to turn left. Up ahead, those behind the ghost could see a helmed horror, and what appeared to be the dead body the group had been looking for. It had been dragged in here by the conjured guard. The helmed horror saw the approaching band of would-be heroes and was activated into an offencive animation.

Manessah flew forward and caught the immediate attention of the helmed horror that it stopped to attempt to swing its rusting sword at the ghost.

OOC>>>Manessah has distracted the helmed horror long enough for the party to make an attack first. Yeah! We are finally in a fight after all this time!

For Andrion

The creatures in the tower either took no notice of Andrion, or they knew he was no threat. None of them were like the were-tiger, Nanashi...and so had more insight on such things as this.

Andrion searched the tower over, from top to bottom, except in the restricted zones that he already knew were impassible...and there was no sign of food at all. Not until he arrived in his own room, where the Mage had let him stay and study did he actually find the food he needed.

OOC>>>Andrion can name the contents of his own room in the Shadow Tower.

Kynnen 73/85

Kynnen's eyebrow arched under his helm. Underground caverns, darkness, and now skeletons that talk. It was starting to feel more and more like home. "I had a feeling you too would talk. My name is not overly important, I am just a passer by." He pointed at the skeleton with his sword "Your's, however, is. It isn't an everyday occurence that I find a standing skeleton speaking to me telepathically." Kynnen wasn't yet comfortable telling his name to the thing, and he kept his closed helm on in case it hasn't yet noticed he was Drow. Under the chain, gloves and helm it was still a fair chance.

For Kynnen

"This is what remains of the High Knight of Lesismoore, Kivmor Snowdale.

Kivmor was betrayed in this room by a man that was in his employ...all for greed.

Now Kivmor remains between life and death, awaiting the thing which was put wrong to be made right.

Have you come to correct the past?

Kynnen 73/85

Kynnen listened to the story with interest. It had something in it. Something hinting of corruption. He knew that thoes who were wronged harbor feelings of hate and anger. Given enough time, it can irrevocably corrupt a man towards evil. Under the cicumstances, becoming a skeleton would certainly qualify as a long time of resentment. A smile formed under Kynnen's helm when an idea formed in his mind. "Who is this man you speak of? His name wouldn' be Silverfall?" he asked, while focusing his eyes on the skeleton to see if any good still remained in him.

Ooc: I’m still using bad glasses so trying to reread what I’m writing is very painful, please forgive any errors incurred along the way.

IC: Yevaud

The elf smirked at the ghost, he did not fear it, the knowledge that it could, and likely would affect his life expectancy if it attacked worried him even less, it might be able to scare men and humanoid scum to death, but such tactics held little fear for elves, when the weight of the world becomes too great Elves simply depart for the planes of their patrons.

He held his blade by his side casually, seemingly forgetful of the fact that it was there, but those who were with him and had seen him move with the sword could be certain that every time it moved it was with well honed precision and nothing was accidental about his use of it. Watched as the spirit ventured down the hallway and prepared himself for what he would do next, running through a mantra to set his mental energies in the patterns needed to tap into the weave and form his will into a creation of it’s own. As he spoke the mantra in elvish he stumbled over a particular turn of phrase, as he stopped he realized he was too fatigued to recall the exact phrase, skipping it he continued on with the next part, stumbling as pieces vanished from his mind before he had a chance to speak them. Frustrated he abandoned the discipline and began chanting the words of power that would shape his spell. He withdrew a small ball of guano that had been mixed with sulpher and hurled it down the passageway as his evocation finished.

OOC: we gonna sets em on FIE-YA, fireball to be exact.

For Yevaud and friends:

You knew it was coming, and even provided me the tools in which to do so.

The extreme fatigue that this elf has been suffering since before they caught Silt by accident has now finally caught up with this poor elf. He casts a spell, though his mental ability to stay on task is diminished with this fatigue.

As the spell was cast to send a fireball into the foray...the spell did not go off as expected. The material that was thrown flew harmlessly through the air and did nothing more than sparkle temporarily as though it were a fire cracker that fizzled away before the big expectant bang. However, there was a reprecussion to the spell's backfire.

First, a dice was rolled to see who the spell would affect. In this case, it is the caster. Next, the mishap was rolled from a list of 10,000 possibilities!

The conclusion...Yevaud has become a temporary misanthrope. I had to look the word up. It means that this elf has a temporary dislike of humans.

I think that with all the other possibilities that could have occurred...you were DANG lucky!!! That was my first roll.
