i guess it depends what kind of movies you watch, i was brought up with really 'extreme' horrors and the like from about 5 years old so if youve watched alot o mad stuff then you should be fine, however there is one or two scenes in shawshank which are quite heavy going so you might wanna give it a year or two.

My favorite movie depends what mood I am in. At the moment I would say it's either L.A Confidential or Heat.

The name seems to ring a bell though. Was it that TV series Michael Mann produced?

Regarding film: I don't watch many really because to be frank most of Hollywoods output is stale and predictable to me. Although there is some directors I like such as Michael Mann (Haven't seen his last film Colateral(sp?) yet though. Heard it's not his best which is why I haven't seen it yet. I'm waiting for it to come on TV.

Heat is essentially a remake of L.A takedown and it is awesome, and Collateral is definately worth seein, ive no time for Tom Cruise or Jamie Fox but it is the only Cruise film ive seen where he isnt out-acted by the furniture :0

Donnie Darko is always a nice choice for me. Also love The Wall and Contact.
