I don't know when it came out, but last night I went at my local library to buy some books, and I saw it for sale, so I jumped on it. I can't wait to start reading it.

It's called Crossroads of Twilight.

Here is a link to the amazon page.

I believe it came out the 7th of this month. I haven't gotten to it yet, but I'll do so as soon as I make my next trip to the local bookstore.

Cool - I will give my local Sci/Fnatasy bookshop a call tomorrow - they are the only ones locally that will have it on immediate import - we probably won't get a truly local release for another 3 monts yet.

Woohoo - made the long trek into town today, and scored copy number 46 - they had only imported 50 advance copies from the US print - thanks again for the "heads up" Luvian.

I finished reading it yesterday. It was very good, but sadly, events are not very farther than they where in the end of the 9th book.

Also, Rand is the less present character, we only see him in one chapter or so...

It's still a good book. We see Mat the most, then Elayne and Egwene.

Sheesh... how long is he going to keep this series going? I guess I can just skip this book and wait for the next one... the read them both at once and maybe the plot will have moved an inch by the end of the second one. I was hoping he was going to wrap things up in maybe two books now that saidin has been cleansed (or was saidar the male part?), guess that was wishful thinking.

You're kidding right? You aren't? YES!!!!!! Sorry, I really can't stand Rand. Shame about the lack of plot movement though, I was kinda hoping it might get moving a bit.
Oh, and Thoran: I think there are about 13 or 14 books planned so 3 or 4 more. Yikes.

Iam really glad that the 10th book came out. but still it left alot of things hanging. with mat and egwene. i was like no this can't be the end of the book its really starting to make me mad. I love mat and perrin but come one you can do alittle more with them. Iam glad that loial is back in the books i like him alot. the whole last book was about rand so iam glad he gave him a break in this one but teh thing that makes me pissed the most is i have to wait 2 dang years for the next one.

Yes, definitely wait wait until the 11th one come out, before reading the 10th, if you can wait. It's good, but it's like taking only one bite out of your favorite dish, you don't want to stop after that, but there is no more.

Elayne still does not have her crown, the Senchan are still doing what they where doing, Mat is still escaping from them, Egwene still did not get the tower yet, Rand just talked a little. Nothing really happened. Sure, the book was good to read, but since nothing really happened, I want to read the next one even more, and that's going to be a long wait.

The worse thing is the ending. Don't worry, I won't spoil, but it's the worst ending ever. You know those old batman tv shows, where the daily episodes often ended with batman and robin being slowly lowered in a pool of acid, or other such things? Well... that was a bad ending, but you only had to wait a day to see what would happen next, well... Robert Jordan is not that nice, he is making us wait a lot longer...
