Actually, he asked for a PVP spec, HiveT, and I think fire is still it. I'd vote arcane and fire, burnzey. Frost is a PVE spec.
And that warrior Marty posted was buffed to hell and back. Did you count those buffs? Wow. |

The first Grand Marshal on my server was a frost mage. I have always gone frost myself for PvP personally, with a little arcane for aoe (now the aoe is auto which is good). The snares and slow effects are all perfect for warsong, not to mention ice-block coupled with cold snap plus frost-shield atop the standard mages mana and ice-shields.
I did know a fire mage in PvP once, he packed quite a punch from a distance what with Pyro and all but up close he had little defense against rogues or warriors etc.

It may be because I play a more defensive way, but I would still prefer frost in PvP, I guess it comes down to your playing style. If used correctly, either can be a deadly force.

Pyro, fireball x 3, frost nova, blink, another pyro and spam fireball once more. Plenty of damage done, and pain in ass for rogues who try to vanish.

I had so much fun killing stupid hordes who thought that tagging themselves infront of a hunter and his king bangalash would bring them no harm.
