Name: Death Mist
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Climate: Any are where people have died.
Frequency: Insanely Rare
Organisation: Pack or none
Activity Cycle: Night or darkness
Diet: Lifeforce
Intelligence: 5-15
Thac0: 5
Ac: -3
Special Defense: Can only be hit by weapons of +2 enchantment or better.
Special Attack: Energy Drain, Strength Drain, Dexterity Drain, Constitution Drain, Frost.

Death Mists a created when people are killed by life or stat draining attacks, but without being brought back as a Juju zombie or similar undead creature, the life force of the host leaves the body and seeks out living creatures to drain their life force, a side effect of this is that they become slower and weaker, permanently, these things are undead and so can be only out at night, but they cannot be turned, if more of these things are created in the same place they sometimes hunt in packs, other times they hunt alone, they will attack any living creature, but sometimes, if they were created after the death of a good creature, they will not attack good creatures.

After a Death Mist has drained enough life force and/or stats, the Death Mist will return to the body from which it came and the body will be brought back to life, fully healed, though sometimes insane, if the body which it comes from is brought back as an undead creature(Only if it's from cleric spells or creature abilities.), brought back to life, Reincarnated, completely disentigrated or digested, the Death Mist will be destroyed.

Name: Jester
Race: Human
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Location: Cities, alleys and side streets near castles
Enemy: Nobles and Royalty

These once proud members of royal courts now creep through the streets praying on societies 'well off'. Once masters in acrobatics dance and illusions, Jesters use there speed and stealth to creep up on the victims. Their lightning fast reflexes make them almost impssible to catch, though once caught are easily finished as there low health and strength does not make them strong melee fighters

AC: -5 (part of them being hard to catch)
Str: Low 10-11
Dex: 25
Cons: 13
Int & wis: 15
char: 19 (they used to be entertainers)
weapon: dagger 2 attacks per round
special abilities: natural ability of improved haste, similar to a bards spin - areobatics, stealth, hide in shadows, mirror image, shadow door
morale: poor

Trome

Generated from the unholy union of troll and gnome, the trome is known to possess the worst features of each race. Not only are they horribly annoying and unparalleled in their ugliness, repeated forceful bludgeonings only lead to regeneration.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Climate: Anywhere where a winsome Gnome Lass might have an unfortunate rendezvous with a randy young Troll
Frequency: Rare
Diet: Small children and Billy-goats
Special Attacks: Victim must make a successful saving throw vs. spells or be driven mad with annoyance for 2d4 turns

OK, this was something I made up years ago, back when AD&D was still in its 1st edition. How about the spectral hydra? Since spectres drain 2 levels per hit, and seven-headed hydras get 1 attack per head, imagine a 28 hit dice undead creature that sucks away PCs' levels like a Slurpee! I don't remember the rest of the stats off the top of my head, but y'all get the (gruesome) idea.
