Ok when you are in a very very very angry or generally bad mood how do you relax? Just looking for what calms people down.
I am giving it the "Piles of loud angry music" approach.

I tend to go online, to one or the other of the servers I play NWN's on, and kill everything I can find...Barring that, meditation is a good reliever. The act of forcing yourself to stop, and breathe for a minute is often enough to calm the urge to choke something.

Chop some firewood. Unless you're north of the equator right now. In which case, what tha hell. Chop it anyway. Even if you're still angry when it's done, you'll be too stuffed to do anything about it...

I go running, or exercise. You can channel all your anger into the fact your doing something you don't want to do - keep healthy

Well, one time I punched a concrete wall. Sounds painful right? Well, I was angry enough that I didn't feel it. Adrenaline is a wonderful thing.

The next time I got like that I picked up a boom stand extension (something for holding microphones) not one of those huge things they use in movies and tv, one you would use on stage. Well I picked it up and slammed it down as hard as I could on the wall to my tech booth. Made 45 degree angle at the point of impact.

Now if I'm genuinely trying to relax anger away and not just trying to vent, I clam up (shut people out of my mind) and listen to a)relaxing music (slow classical pieces) or happy music. Angry loud music only drives the anger deeper into me. Picture a year old festering boil and that's what happens when you store up anger. Gross isn't it?

Many outlets: used to draw or paint, now it's all about meditation (pissed off), building something (pissed off and frustrated), or practicing martial arts (wanna kill a MF and pretend I'm beating the living crap out of him). Third one really works wonders. I get *lots* of practice time in these days....
