no idea what all that line stanza nonsense is about - avoided poetry like the plague at uni. (except when i couldn't get out of it.) modernist poetry - the only subject to ever make me cry in despair.

How about a compromise:
My friend has got a big pink whisk
he likes to wave it when he's pissed
although that is taking a risk
because he beats against a large blue disk

On the peace front - not sure. There's one every night at the Old Steine, by the war memorial from 6 - 7 if she's interested. Also on Sunday there is a 5 rhythms 'sweat your prayers' that will be used to send a special energy out to the world with regard to the current situation. She could come to that (but there's two hours of dance first

Greenpeace definitely not. It's not really their thing - Greenpeace are more environment, and although this will definitely have a bearing, they've just about got their hands full with climate change, amazon clear cutting, whaling, oh, and son of star wars (bit of a departure there....), which we're leafleting on this Saturday prior to the Labour Party conference.
