Is it just me, or does my computer hate me? I have a wireless connection set up between our computer room computer, and the computer in my room which currently has sticknotes surronding the monitor screen.(long story) Anyway. I was talking to a friend and trying to help her cope with a problem that had happened. And guess what. My connection decides to go "HAHAHAHAHA! YOU STUPID LOSER I LOVE SCREWING YOU OVER!" and DCs me. I come back and she's signed off, which pisses me off. I want to keep this from happening again in the future, so can anyone tell me how I can keep my connection from hating me? Will giving it chocolates help?

A wired connection shouldn't have that problem. Wireless connections are notorious for having interference problems. A friend of mine has a wireless network in his house an he loses connection when someone crosses the room. Not sure about any kind of real solution for it though.

My wireless is OK if I give it enough room around it. So now my computer has only one wall and two floors to go to the router but when I closed it in with my desk and walls on three sides connection would be bad, Now it's as fast as it can get.

If my connection is lower I'll move my computer a bit while watching the monitor utility till I have full connection back.

I never had trouble with disconnecting unless the connection was very bad anyway. Maybe you could try moving your computer/antenna or the router around a bit. Also you should check if the antenna(s) of the router are straight up. Otherwise your connection isn't very good either
