I work only because I 'm too old to have a paper round, too young to retire, and too tired to have an affair.

Read this on the side on a coworkers monitor some years ago.

My evenings always seem to be filled with mortal-realm activities, so I never get the chance to sit down and exchange a few postings with the rest of the deviants on here. Hence, I'm usually reading / posting first thing when I get to work and trying to inhale caffeine. Problem is, breaking away from the board and getting on with actually doing my job! The 30 minutes turns into an hour turns into..

The way I look at work is that it is a time to get all the stuff done that I don't get done at night b/c I am playing BGII

I should actually work, but like most people, 5 minutes turns into 10, turns into 30, turns into 1 hour, turns into angry boss

Oh well back to work

Bruce don't come here save yourself before its too late. As I'm the new guy I only seem to get the unfinishable tasks. E.g. those that rely on someone else having done what they are supposed to do if they weren't so busy. I feel guilty for not working but don't really have much that I can actually get on with.
