It'll certainly be different adjusting to the change, and finding a new way to call it, instead of IW, but as long as the members keep posting, we'll be fine!

Who cares about a name ??
It isn`t the name that makes it such a good place to be, after all, but rather the people

I'm all for the name change, I think 'Escape' is a lovely word to begin with. It's what I do to survive. I think it's perfect

Don't change the name!! I travel around the U.S. alot. Every where I go I talk to people about the internet and it never fails somebody starts talking about PC games and on line game help and then Ironworks Forum will come into the conversation it seams that the whole country knows about Ironworks. Hell if you look at the bottom of each post you'll see that the whole world knows about it. The main thing is I've never heard anybody say anything bad about it! I'm sure you could make this A pay site and 90% of the people will come and join if you change the name you'll lose 50% of your members because it will no longer be Ironworks it will be just another dumb forum that every foul mouth on the net with no care about PC games will use. The fact that this is or has become a haven away from the AOL type political forums that have taken over all the rest of the net make the name Ironworks stand out from all the rest. Well think about this---you can remain known as the BEST on the NET or just one of the rest. I voted Don't change the name
THANKS

I've never been overly attached to the name Ironworks. Just what this is, nothing super-duper about it. Escape Forums is just as good IMHO

i agree, the name doesn't matter, it's the people! if you asked me what sounds better, i'd say ironworks, but if you change the name, the forum itself shouldn't experience a change as well.

Name isn't everything and I don't think it does matter much in the case of Ironworks but I will prefer if Z would think of something more "eye catching" if you get what I mean...
