Pillar in forest outside Charwood (SPOILER)!

this thing had me stumped. i picked up the journal from a nearby corpse so i could read the runes on it.

three sets of four words to choose from, and i didnt know how to know which to choose. i just went through them all and finally found the one that worked about halfway through. does anyone know if theres a book or something that you find that tells you which buttons to push? [img]smile.gif[/img]

it took me to a tree-door thing off in a corner of the map, which led me down to a crypt. all there really is is a few undead monsters and a treasure chest.

I remeber that the corpse beside the pillar had a scroll which told of the hunt for some treacour and... and three marked words in the text solved the riddle...

I was thinking about doing that quest, but is the treasure in there worth it? Im past that forest and into neverwinter wood now...but if the loot is good i'll go back

youre kidding...lol, it took me well over a half hour to find the right combination

i didnt see the marked words, but maybe i shouldve paid more attention when reading it...

The "code" is on a separate note elsewhere on the same map. The three words you need to choose are written in CAPS so you can't miss'em

Oh, that's good to hear. I thought he meant the sequence was on the journal that's right next to it...now i feel slightly less dumb. [img]smile.gif[/img]
