Setting Traps

Is there anyway to up the set-trap stats. I've got Nalia and Imoen and both can't seem the set a trap to save themselves. Is there anything I can do to change this?

They both are only low-level thieves, and don't have many points invested in trap-setting, and since they are now mages, you can't increase their abilities in the game. You can, however, do it using the Shadowkeeper program (small download from the Ironworks BG2 cheats page).

There might be an item in the game that enhances the trap-setting ability, possibly the mercykiller ring from the bonus merchant in the Adventurer's Mart, but I'm not sure about that.

yeah your right floraowe it increases trap setting ability by 20% as well as hide in shadows and move silently by 20%
