in character creation, when i clicked on the Wizard class, i read from there:
"To cast a spell, you must have an Intelligence of 10 plus the level of the spell. Example: You must have an Intelligence of 12 to cast 2-nd level spells."
but therefore, you must have 19 Int. to cast 9-th level spells and there aren`t any classes that are allowed to have more than 18 Int!

Don't worry on levels 4, 8, and 12 you can add one to any ability I believe. I already have mine up to 17 at level 6. By the time I would be able to cast level 9 spells I would have gotten it up to 19.

Yeah, I saw a post about someone getting their strength up to 25! Surely a typo.

As Tsantlar pointed out, you can add a point at every 4ths levels. Also, there's a lot of magic items that can increase your intelligence, like ring of clear thought +3.

Aside from Rings there are also Helms that raise INT, plus you can double up on rings. My char has a 16 int but between the rings and helm his int is now a 22.

A stat of 25 isn't totally out of control. I just found bracers of dex +3 to raise my dex to 23. If you found a similar item for strength then an eighth level half-orc could have a 25 strength.

Just think of how many spells you could cast with a 25 int or cha!

also for those 2nd edition players there is no upward limit to stat's in 3rd edition rules, just as there isn't any percentile strength (ie 18/57) so there is no jump from 18 (+1 to hit, +2 damage) to 19 (+3 to hit, +7 damage)

thanks for informing me, i thought it was capped at 25! i just did some testing and got my intelligence to 28 at lvl9, with a +9 modifier

created with 18 int, put my 2 extra points into int, and i have two +2 int items, a ring and a helmet

then i casted fox's cunning for +4 more...i could get to 29 with a roll of 5.

holy crap, thats high int

Just a reminder for those who are counting on +int/wis/cha items.
It seems that the items do NOT count when determing if you can cast a spell level. It needs to be "natural" to count.

So items "only" count towards extra spells per level etc.
