Can anyone tell me which virus appears as a message in Spanish with a .cpl file attachment. I ask this because I have recently received a couple of e-mails via my Hotmail account in this format.

Both have been deleted, but it does not exactly fill me with confidence regarding Hotmail's virus scanning

I can't remember the name of it, but I've been getting it a few times as well. It's basically a worm , but it runs itself every time u run an executable file. If you've run the program then u should get an AV proram to fix it, rather than just deleting the offending file urself. Evil Al did the latter and I spent a while trying to sort it, because once the file's been deleted, no executables will run, including regedit.

Hope this helps
