Skull Castle - Killing the Lich

I wanted to ask if anyone found a way to kill the Lich in Skull Castle. Just for kicks, like with all NPC's, I made a save then tried to kill him.

Nothing works on him, except for the Mavin. It doesn't do much damage, even if you have blood lust, frenzy and backstab while cloaked, its just not enough. He appears to have a ton of hit points, not as many as Erathsmador, but maybe half as much.

So, if you start to hit him, Cet and his minions will just come out, just like you had given him the Holy Ankh thing. I tried to beat on him for a while, but Cet would kill him before I could scratch the Lich.

Anyone else figure out a way to kill him? It might be worth a try, but he can be damaged.
Also for fun, I stood on the ledge when Cet came out and beat on him, not even the Mavin hurts that freak at this point, oh well...

Another small thing, a character with level 12 Lock and trap skill can jimmy open The Lich's treasure vault...but its still tough. I guess the ring is a better choice...but for what I don't know.
