I am trying to play multiplayer over the internet and both of us can't even get connected between our
our machines when we try to play with-out an arbitrator. We have tried Gamespy and got as far as the the character arbitration screen. I'm on a home network with a router providing network adress translation (NAT) between a private and a public IP in the states. He is on a dial up in Europe. I have heard that if I find the ports that ID uses, I will be able to reconfigure the router to send that info directly to my computer. Do you know about these ports? What are their numbers or ranges? Thanks for any help. I just beat the 6-armed snake goddess in single player. She is one tough opponant! I also find that ID requires much more in the way of tactics than Dungeon Seige......... DS looks pretty, but ID makes you use yer brain!!! |

The following TCP and UDP ports must be open on the firewall or proxy server:
