Cheating to one may be fixing to another. Certainly if the programmers didn't do something they were supposed to or did something they weren't and you know how to fix it, then I think you not only should, but HAVE to.
Grand-Ranger: YOU are cheating by not fixing it because it is a programmer's error and according to the actual AD&D2 rules, YOU are playing wrong. Does this make it a bad thing? NO! If the programmer's knew that everything was perfect, they would have written the program so it is unchangable (encrypted or something). Then, for those of us who LIKE "cheating" (I call it being a DM and making my own calls) they would have made JUST the built in cheat ( CLUAConsole: ). ------------------ Let's get'em guen! Quote:

well, if we COULD PLEASE get back to the subject, i would like to say that i dont think its cheating. however, if u start the game, THEN change proficency points later on (i.e., u were gonna be a scimitar user, but saw how much more powerful Katanas were, and u changed the prof) thats cheating. but if u had a blunt weapon prof and changed it to scimitar, that wouldnt be cheating per se, merely bending the rules. theres a fine line between bending the rules and cheating. dont even get me STARTED on the exp. cap debate...
