Just managed to finish my first-ever runthrough of the game.

Generally its quite good, a little too much Diablo in it for my tastes though. Its also a little formulaic, lots of little 'fetch and carry' quests or 'you can't do that until you do this' plots.

*sigh*

It looks good though

I've checked out the start of Shadows of Undrentide twice now, and the storyline seems like utter tosh. A powerful mage taken down by a horde of kobolds? Not in this lifetime.

Am I supposed to start with a fresh character for this tale? Or do I import my existing L16 monk?

I think dragons should be made tougher. Too easy. Possibly remove those 'greater belts of X'?

I'm afraid I don't know the answers to your questions as I'm going through the game for the first time myself.

Shadows of Urentide can be started with a new character and then that character leads into Hotu.

Or you can start Hotu with your Level 16 charcter as its designed to be started at level 15

SOTU is better then the NWN OC. Hordes gets even better.

Take a run through SOTU with your Level 16 character however you may find it pretty easy. if you want a challange start it with a level 1 character.
