I watched the US beat on Mexico last night. Good game. I think I shall have to get up early on friday to watch teh next round. It starts at 7:25am here I think the last time i woke up before eleven was like 3 years ago, but this might be worth it.

Espn was comentign on how low the TV ratings were for the NBA Finals the lowest since before the Bird magic era. Their point was that even soccer was out drawing them. Two ABC over the weekend moved two games from beign showen live to tape delay in the afternoon only becasue ratings were so high they wanted to use them to counter program with in the day time.

NEW YORK (AP) -- NBC's ratings for the Los Angeles Lakers' four-game sweep of New Jersey in the NBA Finals were the second-lowest since the league went to a prime-time format 21 years ago.

Hmm Ap has story on US cup ratings scoring big and NBA being the second lowest since it went prime time.

I think I will stick with soccer aka football ( for you non Americans)

Um did you happen to notice that is the primetime list? If 100% of America watched the World Cup it could not make that list since it is not on in primetime. According, to your list no one tunes in for the soaps either [img]smile.gif[/img]
Second did you also notice that only Game four of the finals on Wen s even made that list? Oh it made it twice in fact as they listed it as seperate shows for tip off and the second half.
