Ascension Peak entry problem

Does anyone know if there's a game system bug or other that causes the game to crash as I attempt to enter ascension peak past Bela???

I have the three objects I beleive are required to ascend, anything else that might cause this game crash?

Yes it is a bug. Fixed in the first patch. There is also actually a specific ascenscion peak patch. Just go to the wiz 8 main page and start navigating from there youll find it.

Well, no luck there downloaded a wizardry 8 patch and bang same crash problem trying to go to ascension pea. Is there more than one patch addressing this problem???

good luck. If those dont fix it, try one last thing I did to get my game working before i patched it, is to change the settings to open gl. It allows the game to continue with errors somehow, but its still not playable lol. But doing that will also let you see the errors and relate back to me that they are the same ones I had.
