Hey, Aussie trivia works for me!

one question about scoring. I notice that in yesterdays scores Sageridder got the same number right as me (9) but he did it in 50 seconds, me in 51. He got 10 points, i got 9. Both ZFR and Alesia got 8 points, but ZFR got 9 right, and Alesia 8?

i am not complaining, just curious how it works?

Thanks! so all i need to do is find everyone who beats me, steal their computers, and stop them doing the test, thereby rocketing myself into first!

oh wait, that could be seen as cheating.

yeah, but then i would log on as everyone else and make them all get 0!

Sorry to be a pain, but i am still a little confused. in todays test both Olorin and I got exactly the same score, yet we get different points??? does your performance from previous tests play a part in that?

E.g, we both got 10/10 in 60 seconds, yet Olorin is awarded 7 points, and me 6. the only thing i can think of is that Olorin could be ahead of me in the overall standings (i missed a couple days), so he gets preference?

If you follow that link that Sageridder posted, there's a post in there where the guy who runs the site addresses this issue.

According to him, it's a random bug. If they figure it out, they'll kill it.

Looking at the scores, I can't see why you're listed second. You're actually ahead of him in the standings... it may be related to which one of you played first today, but I can't swear on it.
