I'm newbie, and when I say newbie, I mean I just got the game, so can someone tell me what is up with the squirril that is surrounded by kids at the beginning of the game? Thanks...

He is Bubbles, the Squirrel God of Awesome Power. He is the protector of children and is protected from all mortal weapons and spells. Attempting to kill him will cause your soul to go to eternal squrrel hell. It is not advised.

(SMALL SPOILER) He is a really tough squirrel, though. At the end of the game when really bad things happen to the village, he is still there, frolicking in the snow and ice, completely unharmed.
