I was wondering what sort of creature the Final Bad Guy was? I heard him mention the Blood War and how Yxumonime (spelling?) a Marilith Tan'ari was his old enemy. So does that mean this guy is a Pit Fiend? If I remember from my experiences fighting them in the Pen and Paper version they had similar spells: improved invis, fireball, symbol of pain, teleport without error, hold person, produce flame, and polymorph self. I know Balors have similar spells but that doesn't explain the rivalry between the two quite as well in my opinion.

I don't really want to go into the whole "Blood War" thing here, but if you play Planescape it will give you a whole other level of understanding for IWD

Hey since when did the residence of the lower planes need an excuse for a conflict?
