Arundel Imposter

I decided to go back to my saved game of Dragon's Eye. When I got back to Kuldahar, I experimented a might. After killing all the Neo Orogs, I talked to all the villagers I could find (not very productive/informative). However, that kid by the bridge (Nate) told me about a man "all in gray" leading the baddies and going into Arundel's house. Well, I went into Arundel's loaded for bear (Arrows +1 from the Eye for all bow equipped fighters, throwing dagger for mage and sling with bullets +1 from Vale of Shadows for cleric), putting my mage and cleric up front as they seem to be slowest with weapons. As soon as the scripted dialogue was over, hit pause and gave everyone their assignment. Result: 3000 exp pts, Boots of Speed & Ring of Free Action but no body. Arundel was still dying upstairs. How might this impact the final battle? Anyone know? Should I continue this game?

Well, I can't tell you for sure, but I expect that it has no effect. I base this on the fact that in BG1 you could kill Tazok in the Bandit Camp, but he would still appear in the end battle. And since both games use the same engine, well I guess it'll be the same in this case. I suggest you keep on playing and tell us what you find out
