I wouldn't bother as you will only get one attack per round.

Not to mention that when you get high a monk high enough, his/her fists become +3 weapons. I think the Celestial Fury is only +2. (Although I could be wrong...)

No, Celestial Fury is +3.

I don't see a monk with Celestial Fury myself, They can use it sure, but I could find another character that could use it better. Id rather give Celestial Fury to a warrior with GM Katana and maybe 2 weapon style, or just a basic fighter.
My monk I want to use his damaging hands. Great damage and speed.

It saids 5 attacks per round....is this true.
Do I only get 4 attacks per round with fists? or is it with weaps as well?

IF your monk is attacking with 4 or 5 attacks a round with a weapon, you haven't gotten the latest patch for the game yet, the old version let your monk attack with a weapon at the same speed as his fists, which is wrong. Your monk should only be getting these amounts of attacks with fists only, not with weapons.
You can either keep the version you are using and let your monk swordfight everything, or you can get the newest patch download which will fix this problem.

I only bought BG2 Bonus Edition in April, surely it should be quite bug free.

Nope, baldur's gate is more buggy than you think. Go to Baldurdash site for some great patches that will fix a TON of stuff you don't know about. Reading the fix list is VERY interesting to see all the problems.
And the monk attacks are a bug. They take the monks attacks with his fists and lets you attack with a weapon at the same speed for some reason, kinda icky to have a swordwelding monk LOL.

yep VERY buggy. There should be a monk sub-class for sword weiling ninjas.

At level 15 monks hands go to +3 weapons. But you can also get gauntlets of crushing which are +4 to hit and +4 damage.... i just dont know if its cumulative ie +7 to hit and damage.... any clues out there??

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!!!!!!!!!!!
