Thanks Accord, 250.

I know about him killing in 1 shot as I intentionally drew him out through my own interest. I just stood directly behind Renal, had my guys surround the two of us and then summoned some skeletons to surround us all. When he appeared (landing in the traps I'd set) I just set about him. He never managed to kill any of my party but after about 10 min's of caning him I sorta guessed he was never going down. He never appeared incidentally when I went to take out Renal "proper" so I guessed he was there just to keep the plot rolling.

If you have enabled cheat, i.e. debug=1, by putting the cursor on an NPC or creature and press [ctrl] and [Q] together, it adds that NPC or creature into your party.

If you kill Renal and make a Hit and run strategy just to steal whatever Renal has, Arkanis will always be there waiting for you in the docks. That say, if you made alliance with shadow thieves. You will never be able to see the Dwarf who make CromFyer or the vorpal blade and all the artefacts. I heard you can kill Gath if you are with the vampires. I did that error and restart a game 'cause I wanted the red D armor and could not make it to the dwarf because I always die before reaching the store in the docks ...
