That sucks Lavi, especially if this is now the second time! I hope when you get your car back it isn't too damaged re the locks and windows. At least they caught the guys (who are lucky they didn't get killed driving that fast down the wrong side of the road, idiots!)

It's Leeds that is infamous for its general nastiness. Newcastle isn't meant to be that good either. I know someone who's brother, was burgled several times, while in the house, in Newcastle. Manchester hasn't got a particularly bad reputation, though those down South tried to make it worse because Manchester got the Commowealth Games and they were all jealous.

Newcastle's rep isnt bad at all, where as Leeds and Manchesters are.

I lived in Manchester for a long time, and we have an infamous hatred of all things from Leeds (all down to the football rivalry between Utd and Leeds), oh, and the only good thing to come out of Leeds is Cantona, might I add.

You say Manchester hasn't got a bad rep? It's one of the highest crime rates in England, due to the notorius Moss Side area.

Well yeh, Moss Side is a bit of a poo-heap but I don't mind the city centre, unlike Leeds which is dreadful. I suppose my comments before were more from opinion and experiences so far rather than actual stats.
