My pc has gone crazy lately, continually locking up and I havn't been able to download any anti virus software. When I try to download anything I get a message in the tray that it's downloading a file but end up with nothing!May have to bring it in (horrors) to a tech shop.Any info on a good place to try to download would be appreciated ,thanks.

You could do an online scan? I haven't used any myself but at for example mcafee offers an online scan.

best way to go is use AVG antivirus, free and updated frequently. If your PC is going crazy, u might wanna give Adaware or Spybot Search and Destroy a shot too.
