I knew of a site a while ago that had an enormous picture of a man holding a paintball gun. The picture was so big it would often cause the viewer's browser or computer to crash. I can't find the link again, so I ask the skilled searchers of IW for aid. I need this site to get vengeance 'gainst a friend of mine.

Uh, assuming someone wants to crash their computer finding it, are you going to crash yours to make sure it's the right one?...

Vengeance for what? And can't you just physically injure him instead?

Here you are.
Do not click if you run Internet Explorer or Windows!. It's an Internet Explorer exploit first and foremost, crashing it due to its shoddy handling of unexpected code, but Firefox users have reported the occasional blue screen of death too so you're not necessarily immune, although that sounds more like a Windows bug. Opera seems to be fine here. Of course if he's smart and using a stable operating system he'll be unaffected regardless of browser Freaky picture, too. Edit: According to my friend running a pretty much fully patched IE after Service Pack 2, Internet Explorer doesn't crash. So it may well be that the flaw has been patched by Microsoft. Looks like your revenge may have to wait a bit longer [ 06-02-2006, 12:03 PM: Message edited by: shamrock_uk ] |

That's a .pwn, or akaassWordNote. Alias: post-it-note. Which could sharply cause M$ and IE to frag.
How do you plan to deploy this? Most e-mail AV will drop it quicker than you can send it, and a good firewall will mark you as the intruder. Unless of course....
