Now I do like the game a lot. But one thing that is really bugging me is the fact that it's so damned dark! I've been to the peninsula and beggar's nest and both areas it's dark as, even in daytime, and I have to use a torch all the time so can't dualwield, or use my bow (as all good rangers should ). Is is supposed to be this dark? I have fiddled with the brightness and all but then it just looks weird. Maybe when I get outside the city it won't be so dark anymore? There are several items that light the area around you - the most common is a glittering necklace(?)

Are you using lighting devices?

Ring of jade is my favorite... speaking of something that bothers me in the game, I have a HUGE FLAMING RAPIER and a GREEN GLOWING LONGSWORD and neither of them emit light. Something they gotta fix eventually.

Yes, well I have tried that, but it just makes it look like I've turned up the brightness, not realistically light, if you know what I mean. In the city core, when it's daytime it's fine, nice and bright. Just in these areas (haven't been anywhere else yet), it can be hour 10 and it looks like it's night

I know what you mean - I was in a multi that tackled the graveyard last night - my character was only barely out of the academy - we alternated the torch carrying for a bit - both were dual wielding rangers
