MMO forums are dying!! We must save it!! Don't let it become another victim!!!

Okay, so I still play WoW, I haven't quit, I haven't gone nuts over my addiction, I still get out and see the sun, and I rarely cut myself in a fit of emoness anymore.

So, this is a thread for those of us still having fun with WoW. Come here and share some stories, brag about loot, offer to have an ePeen measuring contest, whatever.

This is NOT... and that's a Borat-style Naaaaat .... a place to come whine about how WoW ruined your life, took your girlfriend, made you flunk out of school, and stole your lunch money. This is a thread for us FUNCTIONAL addicts, those who have learned to cope.

I'll start. I'm almost all purpled out now. Farming Kara and heroics and trying to recruit a few more for my guild so we can start the 25-man shizzle.

http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/#c...aran&n=Ingafel

Yes, my loot's pretty good. Yes, I'm hawt, and yes I know you wish your girlfriend was hot like me. /flex and /cheer

And that's not all. I'm also one of our uberuberleet enchanters on the realm. Check for the name Ingafel in our enchanting list http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...12021237&sid=1
You'll note the list includes old world enchants too. You wouldn't believe how many huntards still track me down for that +15 agility to gloves that dropped in AQ20 a lifetime ago.

Oh, here's an interesting find. One of those crappy girlie-boy alliance guilds on my server has released a custom UI. It looks pretty sweet. Check it out at www.spartanui.com

Oh, and this C'thun kill by Loot FTW is still my favorite WoW mix-tape of all time:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...arch&plindex=0

So, who else wants to come wave their ePeen around? Hmmmm?

I'm about half a level away from 70 with my Druid (currently Feral) but not sure what I'm going to do when I get there (which should be this weekend). There's so many options:
 • Run SV until I'm exhaulted with CE to get an Earthwarden (as I'm currently tanking)
 • Grind for my Swift Flight Form (still need the 5000g riding skill unfortunately)
 • Do 2v2 PvP arena with my 70 Warlock mate
 • Respec Balance (which my guild has even encouraged which makes a nice change ) and start collecting good leather casting gear (which I currently don't really have!)
 • I still have to head to Netherstorm and Shadowmoon as I haven't been there yet and will likely hit 70 whilst still in Blade's Edge...
So much to do, so little time....sigh

Gad to see you're still around TL. After my return i've successfully managed to control my wow time and now i'm really enjoying it.
I'm playing my Druid and we've got kara, gruul and mag's on farm. Trying to get our way through Serpent Shrine Cavern atm.
And the main reason i've found wow alot more fun is simply because its completely different. I'm full Resto spec and am loving the healbotting right now, well the raiding part is great- trying to heal a heroics with pugs is pure pain so i only do guild runs now.

Zink,
As you've found out leveling to 70 druid is alot of fun. If you get bored then re -spec ! and you're a completely different class. And about the 2v2 definately get in there with your m8. 1. Warlocks are bordering on overpowered in 2v2 arenas and 2. Playing with a close friend is alto of laughs- dont take it too seriously at first cos ur gear will be underpar and you still have to learn to play together.

The moral of the story is control your playtime and focus on the parts you enjoy.

Started playing again like a week ago. Rerolled to newer RP server ( Moon Gaurd) instead of My old server (shattered hand pvp) that server was to far ahead in content to make me wanna catch up so i got a fresh start here. Not to many lvl 70's yet and none even close to far into the new raid content. So i rolled a hunter this time instead of a mage. So far its been really fun. made it all the way to lvl 36 in a week so far so its goin fast even after a lvl 29, 22 hour warsong fest, straight makin twinks look bad with a hunter in greens, yes i do play for many many hours a day but thats cause i'm goin in the navy soon so tryin to get to lvl 70 as fast as possible. Haven't played any of the BC content yet. stop playin before it came out but i know almost all the old stuff had 60 epic'd mage but yeah i pretty much play every day as much as i can. WoW is my anti Drug.

I have a 66 warrior 64 mage 63 rogue and NO 70s whatsoever. I cbfed leveling and i dunno why but i wanna ding that magical number so i can go PvP pwnage! I also have an army of alts, which i can turn to when feeling too bored with my higher lvls. Burnzey (My 66) is like 4 bars from ding. The problem is i havn't any idea which character to level to 70 as my top priorities. Which class should i level and which is more worth it? PvP and PvE. I am currently working on my 41 shaman atm to give me some higher variety but yeah.

I think WoW heads really just want something like new BG's, something that gives you the feel like you have just come into the game. Been reading some posts from early forums, peoples opinions seem to change over time and there are less people on the forums who used to / still play. I think WoW is fun, although it does get boring grinding mob after mob after mob.

I used to visialise me coming home to my lvl 60 and summoning up a grand raid on Stormwind and absolutely wipe out everything there and claim it as Horde.

But because the time difference was there not many players were online and willing to take part of this fun experience. So i left Timber Loftis's Server in order for me to level with players from my own time zone (or close to it). I chose a PvP server because thats the only reason i would play WoW, grinding mob after mob i figured would have gotten boring and yeah. So far i've had a fun experience on my chars, watching pvp vids and learning from them to add to my own skill.

I've had a break from WoW once for my Exams and ive been playing for 2 years now.

Quick question: How many honour kills has everyone gotten in their lifetime from all the characters added together? I'm gonna check mine out after maintenance, i suspect it would be a large amount.

I'm still playin away of course. Loving outland, still hacking away at the Bg's. Sure, the grind gets boring after 2 years or so, but i've always said about WoW that the beauty is you can do so many different things other than grind for xp, and still feel like you have done something.

Yeah it's down atm, prolly some complications with the merging of certain battelgroups that they warned us about. realms are slowly coming up one by one though.
