Cloutier would make an excellent back up, but like you said he is too inexperienced. All too often after a couple of goals he loses it completely and turns it into a blow out. If the Canucks had a decent starting goalie with Cloutier as a backup, the Canucks would make it to the finals no problem.

What can I say? The Canucks looked really good, and the Wings didn't look good at all. But it was just one game! The Wings will bounce back, I'm sure of it!

It is good Djinn.

Dallas wins 4-0! Ahh man, shut outs are just too SWEEEEEEET! (Too still a line from the NWO).

Boucher,Dahlen,Young and Hatcher. Is Hatcher looking food for the norris this year? He leads defencemen in +/- I think, of course, knowing how the Norris is picked it wont be Hatcher, becuase the norris really translates into Dman who has the most points at the season.

But anywho, Stars win 4-nil, Wings lose 4-1. Do they cancel each other out? Nah. Maybe if it was the other way around , but I think I like the stars a bit better then I like the wings.

Actually, I think it helps more to have a reputation than anything for that trophy. The same players are up for it every year. And if points were the only factor, then how come Chelios came in second in the voting last year? He didn't have that many points. I think +/- has more to do with it than points.

Yeah reputation does have a factor in it. And yeah, also true about The Ageless Warrior, but he has won it before, so it circuls back to the reputation..

Why has Scott Stevens never won it is what I want to know...Maybe not a canidate now, hes a bit older, but a few years ago is a diffrent story.

I think they should make an award for best defensive defenceman, Scotty would dominate that catorgoery.

Damn, Stars get shut out agaisnt the Kings!

And the wings tie the oilers! Ah well, at least Hull was the one that scored for the wings.

And the Devs lost to Tampa...Not a good night in the NHL for me.

Ouch on both Stars and Devils. At least Wings managed a tie, though they should've beaten the Oilers. Guess they're hitting a bit of a slump. Hope it ends soon.

HMm, I heard some rumors about Dallas letting Hatcher go this off season( hes going to be a free agent) or maybe even trade him at the dead line? What do yall think about that? I think it would hurt the Stars quiet alot.

Hatcher is a good leader, a big strong guy, and he is showing some offensive skills this season. But if they do let him go it will free up some money. On a simlar note, if he does leave, who would wear the C in Dallas? I think it would be Gurien, hes a good leader, but maybe Mo since he has been around the franchise longer..But both of those guys wear A's, so they would need someone to take that postion as well. I think Arnie or Leths would probably fill in there. Arnott was flying when he wore the A in New Jersey, then he got in a slump and they striped him of it (and gave it to Bobby A-Hole-ik), and he never quiet got out of that slump.

Well at anyrate, at least Hatcher will win 1 more cup with the stars, whatever he does
