Soccer player suspended for dirty play

 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVN21...eature=relatedI don't know all the rules of soccer, but I cannot believe the refs didn't red card her for jerking her opponent to the ground by her hair. I also can't believe the BYU players didn't come running over and put her on the ground as well. Kudos to BYU for not retaliating, even though nobody would have blamed them if they did.

Red cards can only be handed out when the referee actually sees the foul him/herself (or if one of the linesmen/fourth official notices it and tips him/her off). Soccer doesn't work with tv replays during the match, so it is possible that a player won't be sent off immediately. They could be suspended afterwards based on video images, though.

She'd get on great in the Scottish ladies game tho...
