This thread is to share your ideas to design your own car in the future!
Rules: High immagination My car: Runs on water to help out the environment, solar powered to help if low on fuel water, instead of keys you can put your hand under the handle and it will identify your finger prints.

Small 1.0L nuclear reactor that consumes Uranium 238, which would leave no hazardous by-prouduct, is extremely abundant and would not use a natural resource from another conservation program.
Will have a fingertip scan for entry, and a retinal and breath scan prior to ignition. Will not have any type of music source that will play louder than 48DB, or provide any hookup, digitial or cable to one that will. Will not allow outbound signal transmission (except 911 freq). Will not have seatbelts or turn signals as option, they will be standard. This feature will inform driver of stupidty when the automatic turn signal has to take over, and seatbelt will automaticaly engage, with an extended belt already attached for those in need. It will not have a rear shelf where any object can be stacked or packed. The lights will be always on, and a message will be displayed to the driver when a light goes out, and will not allow to be overidden, and will cause vehicle to shutdown after 2hr notice. Wal-Mart will stock all lights for vehicle. All vehicles will be the same platform, but color and superior paycheck options will be available. There will not be any SUV/SUT/Truck options. If something is too large to be hauled, delivery service will be provided. Wheels and tires cannot be altered as the center ring (think F1), will not allow any change. Tire cannot protrude beyond fender without tire/fender damage (think fender skirts). Windows will come pre-tinted.

your joking right?
Not much biger than a PT Crusier,Retinal scan as well as voice reconition. Come standard with two 10's for speakers, have one amp. Doors will go up instead of out, would run on solar energy and vegtable oil-hydrogen mix,and be fully upgradable .

Runs on hydrogen, has levitation jets, lidar, and thermal shieling for athmospheric reentry(yes, it can go to space). Integrated systems include force-brakes, 20mm machine guns, homing missiles, counter-measures, visual cloaking device, thermal masking device, depleted uranium plating and a wicked computer with voice comands. Entry and activation are on retina scans, and it scans even the blood vessels, so my eye has to be alive to activate the car. The car itself can go from 0-100 kph in 2.2 seconds on ground, 0.6 in space. Oh, and it has cosy seats.

* Fusion power (runs on small amounts of water condensation collected)
* Full autopilot, autonavigation, and collision detection systems - avoids collisions. * Can fly, and enter low-orbital space. * Manual drive not enabled when impaired (checks breath and pupils for evidence of impairment) * Car doors operate automatically, much like the new cadillacs, except using biometric recognition instead of key fob (retinal, prints, etc) * When an accident is inevitable, entire car is filled with easily removed and replacable crash foam instead of expensive one-shot airbags. * Body thermally and acoustically insulated for ultimate privacy and comfort. Paint job is actually a hardened ceramic coating that acts as armour and thermal shielding. * Environmental systems do not use freon, but instead use peltier-like thermal management systems. They also have scrubbers and O2 supply for those sub-orbital trips. [ 07-24-2005, 09:53 PM: Message edited by: Sir Krustin ]

Uses total conversion of matter into energy as power source
Uses an inertia-dampening generator for movement The inertia-dampening generator robs car and objects hitting the car of any weight in case of an accident The inertia-dampening generator can also be used for flight The inertia-dampening generator can also be used as a rail gun Autopilot Fingertip scanners Manual control disabled when impaired Refrigerator
