What would I do?

I'd stay the hell away from this situation, and let them sort it out themselves.

Putting yourself in the mix isn't go to do anything but confuse an already very confusing situation even more.

There are two sides to every coin, much the same as there are two sides to every story. The only difference is, that you can usually see both sides of the coin very easily, where as most stories you never completely hear/see the truth from either side. I'm sure there are many factors in this situation that haven't been revealed, and that's why you need to avoid it like the plague.

It's hard to watch children going through such a pile of BS, but it's even harder when another third party gets involved and makes things worse. If you enjoy the drama, watch a soap opera. [img]smile.gif[/img]

What would I do... hmmm, well, first, get another judge or just take the case outside the country as the court system in the states do suck.

Personally, what I would do after having that happen to my children, I would basicly beat the hell out of him. Now I know people may say that that don't have children, but I have two nieces that I am protective of, and if something similar happen to them, well, you have seen what I have said.

Secondly, for the children, I would explain to the oldest she is not hated by her father. In fact I would have her father call her up to talk to her if she has further doubts. The middle child I would have live with a relative for the time being (away from the situation itself and the problems) until the father is gone or both sisters are back in under the same roof, and for the youngest, I can't really tell you. In this situation, you can tell her why it is wrong, being with an abusive person and no going to school, but it will require more than that because in her mind it would be "If I go with this person, I don't have to go but with this person, I do have to go."

now here is the main thing, I am involved, no matter how much I wish I wasn't, animal, it is not a matter of "liking" the drama. but I will not take offense to what you said [img]smile.gif[/img] the sad thing is, no one will give the real fater the oldest girls number, for fear that it might make things worse instead of better. He is doing the one thing he can do, wait it out, even though it is hard, and hope that his daughter will someday call him, as I said it is a hard thing, yes, the father was not perfect, and did do things that made things worse when he was younger, but should that have prevented him from having his children close by? no one is perfect. well, I have said as much as I can with out saying to much. I just try and understand where the mother is coming from, but side more with the father. I know when my husband and I split up, I was angry, and said things I wish I could change, but never did I try and keep his kids from him.
