Update. I have talked to Shazira and she is going to talk to Ken about it. I made the sugestion about deleting the accounts and you guys sign back-up. But don't do anything until I let you know. I will keep you posted on what is going on. Hopefully it gets fixed here very soon.

DOnt use an AOL e-mail address. For some reason it will not send you an e-mail for your password if you give out an AOL address.

That's not only with AOL. I didn't get any emails either and I tried 2 different POP3 accounts.

I have not gotten an e-mail yet either...though
i'm still positive i know what the password i entered was...
i guess after i registered and hit the whatever button, go! or whatever
it was, thats when the error screen occured. So the user name was saved
to the database or whatever but the password was corrupted somehow...or something along these lines.

The Mithril Hall must be like Tanelorn.
A hard kingdom to find...but from all the cool
people who have mentioned it sounds like a realm worth searching for.

It let you enter a password? I never made it that far. I just put in my desired user name and my email addy. I assumed it would then generate and send me a password which I could use to logon and then change it later.

Same problem as Milamber here...
Worst part of it all is that we're not even able to lurk on this forum... you're just forcing people to sign up. Any special reasons for that? I mean, you guys will end up with a lot of accounts which will never be used at all, the number of members could be 1000 at some moment, but it could be there are only about a 100 of them who actually have some posts... Or is it just some kind of Big Brother paranoia?

Yahoo? Are you sure? Hmm, either they just fixed the problems, or there's something fishy going on here... I mean, yahoo addresses work, but hotmail accounts not??? That's the silliest thing I've ever heard... Ah well, I'll give it a try then
