Default Microsoft Edge issues?

So I've been tinkering around with Windows 10, and it's not horrible.

Worst part was getting NVidia drivers to install, but I've got that worked out.

This is more to do with the new Browser, Edge.

1)Edge does not auto-delete history like you could with IE.

2)Edge seems to like automatically downloading any file presented for download without getting the OK from the user (me) first.

Does anyone know if or how I can get Edge to prompt me for permission before initiating a download?

When I load Pandora.com it keeps pulling down a file called 'redir.php', likewise, when I browse Sports Authority's web it downloads some random .js file.

Stuff Edge, I use Firefox myself, it is freeware. There are many good browsers out there: Firefox, Chrome, Opera, just use one of them.

Looks like still work in progress

Few searches in google shows there is no solution for that yet. Stick with other browsers until they improve it I guess.

And here is the long method in changing the default download directory
