I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong.
I've got the setup menu set to auto-advance in combat, but, it simply isn't happening. After issuing orders to whomever, I must manually advance to the next party member to give him orders.
Pretty annoying.....
Any thoughts as to how I can get auto to work?
Thanks

AFAIK auto-advance is supposed to work if you use the icons at the bottom of the screen. If you use the icons near the portraits, it won'T do a thing.

"AFAIK" hehe...I give up. What's this mean?

Thanks for the help. I will try but I do not believe that is the issue. I've used icons at the bottom and at the sides of screen, if I recall.
Does it work for you?
If so, what version do you run?
(A friend on VIN boards told me it never works for her)
Thanks again for your help!

Just tried using the icons at the bottom of the screen and still cannot get it to work.
Very frustrating. And, I assume there is no tech-support number to call anymore.
Thanks for trying to solve this issue.

One more interesting finding: I reinstalled the game. I CAN get auto-advance to work until the party member in the middle slot on right comes up. After entering his orders, auto-advance stops. I tried it with a couple of different parties and the advance always stops with that party member. So, whether he is 2nd in initiative or fourth....stops after him.
Bizarre........
BTW, patches do NOT affect the issue.

I believe auto-advance is a broken feature. I'll mess around with the cfg files and see if maybe something is in there that will fix it.

You bring up a great point here! For the veterans on the forum, I think there are far too many abbreviations and letters for items etc. I'm pretty regular here and I don't know what some of these things stand for. Lets make it a bit easier for the newbies here. Thanks
