Retorts for Character Comments

Lately I've gotten into talking back to my characters when they make comments...HAHA now that I think about this, maybe it should go under the "Playing Wizardry 8 too long" category!

(My retorts are in italics)

My Ranger, after taking a few hits:
"Eh, I'm taking a beating here!"
You're gonna take another one if you don't quit whining!

When my Fighter gets an instant kill:
"All it takes is a little courage!"
That *Light*Sword* in one hand and Stiletto in the other doesn't hurt either

And this is my favorite..my Bishop is kind of, well, slow [img]smile.gif[/img] About halfway through the battle, he says:
"I see a creature, friends!"
Yeah, it's that great big Rapax Samurai beating the crap out of you!

"I sense a living being"
--yeah, we smell you too.

And then there are the most inspiring words spoken by any character in Wiz8:

"Now would be a good time for a pint."

"Aye." me says, accepting the quest to raid the cooler.

--DUDE! WE HAVE MISSLES?

"its got a lock"
--what was your first clue?!?!?

after my ranger spent the night with Al-Sedexus: "not bad"
--if u know what i mean

"this place seems to be completly abandoned. I wonder why."
--well the skelitons, bloody cleaver, and poisonous creatures may just be a clue.
