Hi, I'm running an experimental party and I let a character get killed off, but I can't seem to get rid of the character now? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think you can do it. But even worst than having to look at the skull of the character you killed off for the rest of the game, is the fact that the dead characters level, which is not advancing, will still affect game play.
You can replace the dead character with a new one that will start at level 1. I don't know if any of the editors can solve this problem, but I don't think you can fix this legitimately within the game.

Yah, your dead one will reduce the party level average, which means easier mobs but maybe waiting longer for certain items at certain merchants.
