anyone out there done anything with or know anything about blender? I just DL-ed a copy of it. I haven't opened it yet but I will here as soon as I get offline. Just a wondering

When I first became aware of this program, it was free, but the user's manual cost.
I know there are tutorials for it, but with no instructions, the learning curve was way beyond me. (Which I guess just might prove how dense I am...)

yeah, the prog is free; but if you wanna know what yer doing; thats gonna cost you...

I downloaded it and it seems fairly simple and acually quite good for a free program, though it is lacking in comparison to the big titles like 3Ds MAX and Maya, though that is to be expected [img]tongue.gif[/img]
