Yea...I just bought this game today. I was looking through the manual and it mention new feats, familiars, skills, etc. Pretty cool I think...well anyway, kinda confused though about some of the feats. Like "Circle Kick," isn't it the same as cleave?

And also, how does this expansion relate to the the storyline of NWN?

Circle kick is like cleave only that you don´t have to kill the one before your circle kick.

And the SoU storyline does not connect AT ALL to the nwn storyline. You are a totally diffrent person, with a totally diffrent past.

Do not take circle kick - its great in theory, but in practice every free attack you gain switches your focus. Since your best tactic is to focus on one target at a time, free damage to other targets is nice, but switching to another target semi-randomly and outwith your control is often fatal. They didnt even have the decency to make it an optional mode.

I see...ok thats cool. I was hoping that the expansion would relate to NWN somehow....O well.

Ok, I won't take the circle kick feat, but should I take the great cleave feat?

EDIT: Is it possible to export my character from NWN to SoU and still keep all the items I had on that character before?

I wouldn't use your NWN character in SOU. It was designed for low level characters

HotU continues the story of SoU, but refers to some events in NWN.

Great Cleave is a good feat to pick if you melee alot and have the feats to spare.
