There's a sandwich chain called Potbelly in Washington, D.C. They've also got a bunch of stores in Chicago and some in Dallas, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Anyway, the subs are super cheap, hot, and really good.

Recommend Awreck (salami, roast beef, turkey, and ham w/swiss) with everything -- those peppers are really good, too. On wheat.

I love Subway's sandwiches but there aren't any shops close by. Whenever I get the chance I go for a footlong one with any kind of chicken or beef, and of course the works - cheese, salad, cucumber, tomato, pickles, olives, and honey-mustard sauce. I think they're planning to open another Subway in Amsterdam (there used to be one but it closed [img]graemlins/crying.gif[/img] ) and if so, I'll be first in line.
