Mad

I was going to post this in CE, but it's way too humorous for that...
My country's president, Stipe Mesic, had a recieving the other day. It was the president of the Croatia Gipsy Community, Kasum Cana. As a sign of good will, Cana gave the president a painting, a beautifull landscape by a reknowned local artist. The giving was televised, and it didn't take long for Slavica Medjeri, the original artist, to recognise it was her own painting. Stolen. The police checked the registry, and sure enough, the artwork has been reported stolen a decade ago. All parties involved are being questioned by the police, except offcourse, the President, Stipe Mesic. Kasum Cana denies involvement.
So... anyone experienced anything as weird as this?

Just my primeminister getting drunk in a recieving for the icelandic handball team after they did fairly good and making an utter fool of himself when he made a speech.

But that was pretty funny.

In some countries politicians making fools of themselves is more common than them behaving normally

Well Candian politicians have a bad habit of dogging the US president. Been a few times that they have been caught saying what they think about him on TV. Sometimes they need to keep it locked away.

why keep it locked away? we're not their citizens, say whatever you want.

but aside from that, Mack you're probably as well aquianted with the poise and tact of our drunken premier? I mean, who charges a guy with assault for getting hit with a cream pie. get a sense of humour ralphie-boy, and try not to kick the homeless quite so often.

Last year one of the minister was making a speech and it was live telecast. He was talking about something something for the woman's day. Then suddenly he mention " If you can't fight rape, just lay down and enjoy it " . The next day he was bombarded and 1 week later he was force to resign.

Right Ralphie. Mr. Rum noise. I forgot about him going to talk to the homeless drunk. Yeah he is lame. I hate it every time he needs votes for the next election he announces that there is going to be some pay out.

Kakero that has to be one of the worest things to say at some speach aimed at women.
