What a well put argument, needless to say I agree totally. I have tried very hard to like baseball, firstly by learning the rules and basic tactics. and by spending good time watching quality games. but nope its boring. And to add one aspect that is similar in both games. Both cricket and baseball are considerd the "thinking" mans game, with the most poetry and books written about each than say american football or soccer.

No matter what you say, baseball is more popular worldwide than cricket.

I've always thought that the major difference between the two sports is that we understand baseball!

I can understand baseball by just watching it on tv one time only but I still don't know how they play cricket even though I watch it numerous time. Maybe one need to be a rocket sciencetist to understand it?
