What do people think about Ninja-To's and Wakizashi's? Are they worth getting or putting proficiencies in? Sure the basic "normal" versions are better than the "basic" longsword etc but... mmhm? anyone?

Another Ozzie? Gary just joined in a neighbouring thread. Welcome Bristowe.
The Waks are mot the most powerful of the weapons around. If you have an eastern character it might be nice for roleplay value, otherwise go for Katanas and then Longswords or Two-handed swords, as these have the more potent weapons.

They are good. The bonus CD (you can download the contents) has a cool Wak, and a good Ninja-To (Monk only) as well.

Just a thought:

Don't forget scimitars, wakizashi, and ninja-to share the same style of weapon proficiency, there are couple of decent scimitars in the game.

Accord, with all respect. Apart from a Druid who would pick a scimitar over say a KATANA?

Enlighten me... I've forgotten it's stats.

Hey, our ranking is singular. Which of us is really THE Avatar?

Also? A chord is musical. Why are you not a Laughing Hyena????

Yes "A-cord" can be musical *Heh*. As for the scimitar, it is really a "illegit" item in the game, I don't think you can get it from any person or quest, rather like those hidden NPCs, the sword is just in there....hmmmmm, aside from that, it is basically a +3 magical scimitar (sort of like Drizzt's, except you won't have a drow and mage chasing after you for it)
The avatar eh? I don't know....they did not say avatar of who though.
Actually, I have not played the bard character as my PC yet. *hangs head in shame* I was pretty much sticking with paladins, fighters, mages, fighter/mages, fighter/thieves, rangers, and ranger/clerics. I guess I am missing out a part of the role playing aspect.

Mate, you have got to do it!!!! The Bard stronghold is one of the best!! How many times have you finished it? 8 or something yeah? Yet it still has areas you haven't touched?

That's the beauty of this game, it's replayability. I'm the same, I think I've covered every inch and some dude mentions something I hadn't seen.

I'm off anyway Accord. See you later!
