Re: World cup
My heart REALLY wants Holland to win, given I love they way they've played through the years. But my blood cries out for Spain (plus my dad would disown me if I didn't cheer for them).

Re: World cup
I'm here getting drunk pretty much every day inbetween watching football and raiding in WoW That reminds me...gotta go out and get beer and sangria, ICC isn't the same when sober LOL
And btw...i'm a bit pessimistic about our chances on sunday. Spain has been BY FAR the best team for at least the last two years, they are consistant, and their flashy combinationfootball (Barcelona style) rips apart any defense, and with a targetman like david Villa, they almost always score. Gonna be tough, we gonna need some luck and proper teamspirit.

Re: World cup
Paul the Drunk aka the Lord of Alcohol predicts The Netherlands! That octopus likely had WATER in his tank. Yuck. That will screw up his predictions. I do not have water in my tank!

Re: World cup
Well wasn't the 3rd place game an entertaining match. 3-2 Germany, with Forlan hitting the crossbar at the stroke of fulltime. Shades of Gyan hitting the crossbar after Luis Suarez's handball denied Ghana a place in the semis. Speaking of which, Muslera had a shocker today in the Uruguay goal. Maybe they should have put Suarez in there, he showed great goalkeeping form his last match!!
